A Little Bit Sick

For the past few days we've all been a little bit sick. I think it's something that Timmy might have brought home from school because my co-worker (whose son goes to the same school) was also dealing with the same thing, just earlier in the week. Yesterday we had a hard time putting Timmy to bed because he kept saying he was hot and then cold and thirsty and then he kept talking in his sleep...overall not fun.

We brought him in by us and then took his temperature while he drank some water. He was only 100.6, so not horrible on any level but still slightly elevated. We gave him a cool compress for his forehead and then a little bit of medicine. Then Timmy and I went to sleep on the futon while Erik stayed in the bed (mostly because he's the one that had to work this morning). Timmy slept all night which was great! I am really enjoying having the guest room and the futon that I can pull down to hang out with Timmy instead of me sleeping on the floor of his room. Seems to be much more comfortable. Who would have thought? =p
