Five years ago today I married my best friend. A lot has changed since then, but I wouldn't change a thing. There have been stressful times, there have been happy times. I can't think of a person I would rather have shared those moments with than Erik. I am so glad that God has chosen him to walk beside me through life. Honey, I'm so happy to be your wife. I hope that you have enjoyed the past five years as much as I have.
Today we both took off of work to be able to enjoy our anniversary. We dropped Timmy off at school and then headed out for our day. First we went to the doctor so Erik could get a physical (and let me tell you, it was crazy there since the doctor's office just got their flu shots in the other day), and then headed out for lunch and a movie. We had lunch at Maggiano's and then went to see 'Couples Retreat'. It was a really good time. I thought 'Couples Retreat' was pretty funny. I think it's interesting to look at Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn and not only note where they are in their careers now, but also to look back at 'Swingers'. I think they met on the set of 'Rudy' and have been friends ever since. What a interesting story, huh? Anyway, it was a good day, despite the rain. =) Happy Anniversary, Erik! I love you!
