Garage Sale

After meeting Marah on Saturday afternoon, we decided to quick hit up the library before it closed.  Since Timmy hadn't had a nap all day, it was a little bit trying.  On the way home, right outside the alley where we emerge from the library, was a garage sale.  Erik did a quick look from the car and thought he saw a Thomas and Friends activity table.  We stopped so Erik could go out and check, and sure enough there was the activity table.  He decided before he got out that if they wanted anything more than $50 that we would just walk away.  When he looked at the table he had to ask if the price was right because it was only $30.  The owner said that was the right price and Erik asked her to hold it for us until we got some cash.  We got the cash and then the garage sale owner asked if we wanted a little Thomas couch for $5.  So, now we have a little Thomas couch and a Thomas and Friends activity table.  Both needed just a little touch up (the table needed some reglueing and I did some spot cleaning on the couch) but they are all set to go.  Timmy loves them and we love that we got such a good price on them (the couch normally sells for $70 new and the activity table for at least $200--which, if you ask me is a rip-off because it's mostly particle board but that's just me).
