Vacation Over

Well, that pretty much sums up our week.  We had a great time and were able to do a lot, thanks to Erik's parents.

One thing I like about staying with family is that you can come home with almost no dirty laundry.  =)

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and New Years.  2009 looks like it will be a year of big change yet again.  But I guess change is really what you make of it, huh?  I can't believe that my son is going to be 3 this year.  That seems just crazy to me.  I am looking forward to see what our new president can do for our country.  Our country is hurting and it seems like we may not have yet hit bottom.  I hope that things get better but I fear they may not.

On a slightly positive note, we have the last of our Christmas present exchanges tomorrow with Paul and Katie.  I think that's the last Christmas we'll have until December.  =)
