Friday we got up and decided to do a little exploring around Tucson. Erik's dad showed us where he worked (well, the outside of the building, we weren't allowed inside) which actually took quite a while. It's a lot bigger place than I had imagined. I would have pictures but you can't take cameras on the grounds so...that took care of that.
We then went to the San Xavier Mission (I think that's what it's called). It's a nice little place. It was pretty cold though. It's not that big but I was able to get some nice pictures and Timmy didn't seem to totally hate it (which is good).
After that we headed home because Timmy needed a nap. On the way we noticed that the rain we had started the day with had turned to snow. Yeah, that's right. I think it seems only fitting that we try to leave the snow behind for some warmer weather and it follows us. I was a little miffed because I had only brought two pairs of shoes (that's really good for me) and neither of them had traction really, so I was hoping the snow would not last too long. It lasted the rest of the day.
The good thing about the snow is it looked really pretty on the cacti and we were able to get some really great pictures. When Timmy woke up from him nap we decided to take a trip to the park to let him have some fun time outside (because even though it snowed it wasn't frigid). There are some beautiful pictures from the trip. We also drove up towards the mountains behind Erik's parents' house and were able to get some nice pictures there too.
