Friends from College

On Tuesday, Erik and I were lucky enough to be able to spend some time with one of my college roommates and her husband.  Amy and Eric (yes, we've heard it before) drove down from Mesa to hang out with us for lunch.  It was a really great time and I'm glad that they were able to see/meet Timmy.

The last time I saw either of them, Paul had just gotten married and I was not yet married.  Yeah, it's been a while.  We were going to meet at the Texas Roadhouse but they didn't open until dinner (oops!) so we ate next door at the Cracker Barrel instead.  Erik's parents came and got Timmy after about an hour and took him home so that left us to hang out with Eric and Amy.

We sat and talked for the longest time and had a great time.  We decided it was time to leave when the waitresses began sitting customers for dinner.  Turns out we sat there talking and just hanging out for about 4 hours.  It really didn't seem that long.  Unfortunately, I forgot to bring out my camera to take any pictures and Amy did the same thing.  Oh well, what can you do?
